If there’s a game which has eaten up more of the free time than I could recall, it is this one. I wasted a great deal of time enjoying Link’s Awakening. I would occasionally put unique names for Connect and pretend I was playing with as that character, such as”Goku” and only employing the Fire Rod, pretending I had been using the Kamehameha. It’s ridiculous, I know, but I was very young. It also illustrates how amazing this match has been.
The gameplay is really a refinement of the first Legend of Zelda’s game play. Or will be, even if A Link to the Past hadn’t been published first, but this game feels closer to the original than LttP.
